Martin Tolley has been competing in the championship since 2009. He is supported by Darren, Paul, Jeremy and Liam a steadfast group of engineers who love Motorsport. Martin has worked closely with Rob Boston, who in the early years was key to developing race craft and providing technical guidance and support with the car
Martin has several race wins/podium finishes to his name and competes amongst the top drivers in the championship. The team this year are working towards winning the 2015 championship. It will be a hotly contested season with some exceptional talent amongst his co competitors.
Creative Touch Design have once again agreed to support Martin this year whose support is greatly appreciated. Chase engines and MJA engine services are also supporting the team with an engine from each company in the team cars this year.
Kevin Brent is 49 years old (yes he will be 50 in 2015!) and completed his first full season in the Championship last year (2014), teaming up with Martin. Kevin first raced in 2012 after taking the plunge and building his own car with his eldest son Josh - he completed about half the races in 2012 and 2013.
It was at the beginning of 2013 that Kevin and Martin met when Martin helped sort out a few problems with Kevin’s car. After frustrating performances towards the back of the pack, Kevin decided to team up with Martin and take his advice to have the car on a rolling road prior to Brands – resulting in an extra 10 BHP and 10 places up the grid!
Since then, Kevin has made steady progress and is now a regular front runner in the B races, scoring 4 podium finishes and picking up the award for the most successful B driver in 2015 – as well as the award for the most spectacular crash (Cadwell Park June 15th)!! His highest finish out of the full 78 registered drivers was 13th and he finished 15th overall in the Championship.
His target next season is to establish himself fully as an A driver and to finish in the top 10 overall.

An avid fascination with cars and motorsport since his teens saw Alex tinkering with any car whose owner was mad enough to let him near it. This was further fuelled when he spent some time working for Big Performance automotive tuning. Being a huge fan of Lotus cars he met some likeminded friends online and became involved with track side support for the Elise cup, which in turn led to volunteering with SZ Motorsport racing in Classics and Britcar.
While very happy to be involved track side and do the occasional track day, he's always had a yearning to experience driving in a championship.
Fortunately for Alex, saving an MX5 from the scrapper to be a project car, snowballed into his partner Felicity buying him BRSCC membership with a ticket for the 2015 Autosport show where he met Go4it Racing and had (a very lucky) competition entry bought for him as a birthday present.
When not inflicting/sharing his passion for motorsport with his family or working on his MX5, Alex likes to scare himself rock climbing or cross-swords with opponents when fencing.
A huge thank you to the Go4it Racing guys for the opportunity to race in the BRSCC MX5 Championship and thank you to Stiliyan Petrov for picking the ticket. I’m really looking forward to the experience and meeting everyone else involved with the championship. I can definitely say I’m absolutely stoked, excited and petrified all at once - I can’t wait to start racing!
Former Mk1 and Mk3 champion, Rob will be supporting Martin and Kevin and tuition will be provided to the winner of the prize competition. Based in Lincolnshire, Rob was also 2013 Ginetta G55 Supercup driver, Lotus Cup UK Production champion & Trophy winner 2012. He runs Rob Boston Racing
Chris Mills is a 27 year old Recruitment Consultant from Hertfordshire. He has been fanatical about motorsport since his Dad took him to his first Grand Prix at Silverstone in 1999. Since then Chris has raced in Karts, been on numerous track days and driver training days, but most of all he has been a spectator.
Since gaining his ARDS Licence Chris has been looking for a series to compete in and after meeting Kevin and Martin at the 2015 Autosport Show he decided that the Mazda MX-5 Championship was the series for him.
Outside of Motorsport Chris is a keen Mountain Biker, Snowboarder and anything outdoors or in water like Canyoning!
Chris is hoping to learn a lot from his time with the Go4it team but most of all he is going to enjoy the chance to compete around some of the country’s top Circuits, rather than just watch!
